Structural Members

Our engineering capabilities are not limited to small-scale parts and assemblies. We’re also able to design and build large structural members, like this 27’ steel webbed truss that we built for one of our clients working in the agriculture industry.

The client approached us during the design phase of a new facility they were building. They had plans for equipment that was going to be installed on the roof and needed a truss system that could withstand the added weight and pass state building code inspections. We designed this webbed truss system and performed static load analyses as well as wind and snow load calculations mandated by state building codes. We built the first 5 trusses in-house and oversaw installation and state inspections.
